wondering which way my 2 p300s should be positioned, longways or shortways along my tents length? Longways seem like there would be more overlap in the center.

@Son of Hobbes is right @Franky Haze i do run 2 of them, but i run in a 3x3 so either way works for me. Seems that yours is wider than it is deeper, so what i would do is run them the long ways.
Mine are like this
run yours the other direction of those. Hell maybe even end to end given the light coverage they have, like one in front of the other one.
