24/7 LIGHT CYCLE REPORT!

Trying my first deep water grow and have noticed this on my soil grows as well. If I leave the lights on for 18/6 cycle after awhile a plant starts to droup starting at the top, and when I turn the lights back on in the morning she's all perked up and ready to go makes me wonder about the 24/7 I've read....photos are the two girls I'm doing now ...in this case baby 'sis' is the one that droups while 'lil' mop top seems to keep right on going

I have a friend who has grown photostats for 20 years and never turns the light off till 12/12 time. He uses tie downs and gets 6-10 ounces dry from just 4 plants this way.

I can't do it yet but man the 4 he has right now look like 6 not 4. Colas are everywhere!

just trying to figure out why the plant droups after awhile then in the morning she's poped straight up ready to go.....any thoughts?
must be a midnight bloomer!...with the auto flowers they seem to just start budding on their own no matter what the light cycle so do you need to chage the light to 12/12 ...I heard some people just run them 24/7 their whole life...

here's a pic of one I'm getting ready to harvest soon..from my first grow

First of all they are some really nice lookin girls you got there! I'm not sure about the drooping but as long as they keep perking back up I think its ok.(I have never done hydro so idk for sure) but to answer your light timing question...some people do 24 hours of light the entire time but the majority of us seem to think it will hurt your final yield. 18/6 or 20/4 are the best times for light/dark because plants need "rest"

I've noticed the droop at lights out and perkup lights on,i liken it to they know the lights going off and they go intosleep mode and as soon as the lights come on they wake up and stretch for the light. Sounds goofy but its like they know lol.

Yeah it is cool how they know. It's like they are smart without having a brain. That's why I always talk to my girls and play music for them and even try to go in and say "goodnight" before the lights go out. I might be weird but I believe they know what's going on around them and respond to their environment beyond what most people realise

despite the questions that i might be too baked to answer bro and excuse me for that but those buds look frosty, and its one outstanding plant, different pheno maybe but sure did a good job at taking care if it!

much respect
otwo:peace:

DROUPY PICS 10:30 pm....here's the pics I was talking about after 16 hrs of the lights on ...notice how baby 'sis' is now droupy compared to 'lil' mop top..I will turn off the light at midnight and will take a pic in the morning before I turn on the lights to show you how the leaves will all be 'perked' up on baby 'sis'.....you can see the diff. on the previous pics.... baby 'sis' is perked up
