watsup guys

i gots 3 starters
-easy ryder
-HBD
-afgan kush

they are two weeks old in and i got eʻm in their own 3 gal pot with MG Organic soil (yah i know, everyone beat the $hyzzle out of that dead horse already, lol).. i think theyʻre ready for some roids in the veg stage.

My question is, what do i use and how much? I think i need to do the liquid roids right?
I cant mix the powdery ones in the soil cause the plants are already in their final pot.

Iʻll probably get the roids from walmart or homedepot as it is close to my house.

what ratio do i use of something you guys prefer? i.e. 1 tsp per 32 oz water, per water or every 3 days or per week? does that make sense

thankx for the help

ps. where do you get a ph tester from? right now just using filtered water and hoping for the best

Look into Fox Farms or General Organics nutrient lineup. They aren't available at HD or WM though as far as I know. You will need a veg growth nute and a flower/bloom nute as well. They will have directions for the dosage but Autos need to be started out light and moved up gradually. So start at 1/4 strength of whatever the recommended dosage is...In that MG organic you probably won't need any nutes until around 3 weeks. And the dosages are per gallon of water.

Yes, you need to make sure the ph of your feeds and runoff are good. For soil, you want it around 6.5, same with runoff. Runoff is the excess water that comes out of the bottom of the pot when you water. You only water or feed when they need it. Cannabis likes a good wet and then dry cycle. I like to use the weight of the pot to tell when they need water. Pick them up and give them a feel for when they are dry, and then when they're wet after you water. Then you can tell what they should feel like when they need water. I don't use the 'knuckle technique' that others use.

You can find liquid ph tester at walmart or anywhere that has pool/pet fish supplies. It is very accurate, but only with a color chart, it's hard to tell exactly what number it is, and if you're checking runoff or water with nutes in it, you won't be able to tel the color because of the nute color or dirt in the runoff.

I highly suggest getting a good digital ph meter for your grow. Ph is one of the most important things to keep up with in growing. Hope this helps.

aayyy right on squid, that helps alot, i appreciate the feedback

Check local nurseries and garden centers. Better chance you will find more suitable nutrient there than in the big box stores. While you're there, also look for some getter soil. MG is crap for growing weed as has been well documented here. If you can find some I would highly recommend transplanting them to the better soil.

On line is your best bet for a good pH meter. Don't waste the $20 or so for those cheap ones, put it toward a good one.

Hey man, I was just wondering how much you would feed fox farm nutrients for coco? I did a run with it in jiffy potting soil but I am trying to find a good schedule for ff in coco. Can you give me any advice? The coco I'm using is burpee coco bricks I picked up from home depot for like 2 bucks a brick. Thanks for the advice. I plan on starting up here in a few weeks.
