Thought I'd offer here for input. I'm not new to growing, but a real rookie at AFs. Grew a few with surprising results, heard how awful they are,,, and though, "sumptin wrong". Didn't seem all that horrible to me. So to find out I started a quest to learn something new for myself.

Basicly looking for a 2 plant every 2 weeks continuouse perpetual. This is the early stages of beginnings.

Also along with this is an attempt to "self" a auto with STS. Have some sucess, but nothing I'd brag about. This is being pursued as a side thing (seed making).

Anyways, a little something about where I'm at presently. I'll not bother with past details and waste time unless there's interest on it.

Here goes nothing;

Alright, at this point I'm still learning "plant". So far, no nutes used. They're not as picture perfect as I'd like, but want to grow first round "straight-up" as they say. As we go along you may see why I'm going this way at this time.

Station 6-8 week early week 6, first 3 pics.
First pic - Dinafem Road Runner, one on left was FIMed, other not. only diff. so far in growing. I see the effects pretty good. However, to me it looks a bit stretched and thin. Something to consider when I do the next run of these. Nice size for this though and has about 4 weeks to harvest.

Station 4-6 wk

Pic 4 Onyx, like what I'm seeing so far on this. Definately looking more indica than the above Road Runner. One was FIMed.

Sta. 2-4 wk

Pic 5 - Russian Rocket Fuel, One to be FIMed. Both potential candidates for "seed".

STS F ->M Pic. 6
This was hit with STS 2 days ago.

Damned plant looks like it's ignoring me!!!!!

New hairs coming on strong.
This time STS was as fresh as fresh could be. Mixed accordingly... This is NOT what I expected to see. Really considering hitting it again, well before the "2 week" suggested time. If I have trouble again with this STS way,,, believe me,, there'll be a side-by-side comparison in the very near future on a CS vs. STS.

Sta. 0-2 Empty.

Have 2 more RRFs germing this morning. Want a delay time between my STS convert and the reciever this time. How much time? Don't know, but I'll be ready for 2 weeks behind and 5 weeks behind. Hope that'll cover it.

Remember, this is purely a idiot at play with his folly. Very open minded to input on this grow.

Nice bro!!! Everything looks good so far. I'm not sure about FIM on autos but it never hurts to try, I barely even LST mine.

Can't wait to see the results

Great start ya got going on there...Having started my growing with autos years ago, I prefer them because of the rotation schedules that can be pretty much relied on...I pop my rotations at 2 weeks too....all yours are looking good....dunno know bout the fim stuff on autos...when I did fim, I got mixed results...nothing different enough to cause me to keep trying it........ + fimming with MS is a funny proposition anyway...LOL...I'm lucky when I don't take a finger !!!

Ouch! Nothing funny about MS.

The polorization on autos (love/hate) is what this is about. I see sooo much potential positive with 1 room, 1 schedule, 1 enviromental control system, etc. It sparked my interest.
I've only grown a few (3-5) autos and for the life of me couldn't find the blasphomy that many of the "photo" guys complain about. To the point of acually being more than very pleased with results I got for knowing nuthing.

For me, this is the only fair way to find what's real,,, and what's not.
So far,,, I'm "diggin it!" :lol:

By-the-way,, first pic. They look a bit stretched to you folks? Do some to me. But could simply be the nature of the beast because the fans look more sativa dominant than expected.

Thanks. :thumbs:

They do look a bit stretchy.
You don't say what type of light you are using or how close you are putting it to your plants.
You may need to get them a little closer to the light to prevent the stretch.

Running 2X 400 CMH. Pluss a 100w(ish) T-5 in early (2 week) spot.
Distance about 18". Set is for 86F at canopy level with minor deviations.
Be it as it may,,, I'm not entirely sold on CMH over HPS for several reasons (concerning trichs). A little fly in the ointment,,, "Bud" is NOT my main interest. Trichs are. I am 95% pure medicinal in all my endeavers. Feel that kind of throws a twist in the mix from time to time.
