Outdoor 1st soil and 1st outdoor grow - 3 soil systems, 4 pots, all organic

@mwilliams2006 I think you will find that those pots are much too small for an organic outdoor grow. They are even too small for an indoor grow. You need to be prepared to water multiple times a day and you will need nutrients by the third week or sooner. Not cooking the soil can be problematic.

Using ammonia sources of nitrogen can make your plants attractive to mites.

The farmers that grow in the foothills here use 100 gallon containers for small plants. I know that is not practical in your case but you will be a slave to the grow.

All that said cannabis can grow on it own in a rocky outcrop :baked:.

:goodluck:

Well shit. Watering 2x a day is doable for me but you raise really good points. Live and learn. I was planning on prophylactic spraying (1x/week) with an insecticidal soap to reduce the risk of major mite infestations.

I am going to up-pot the 2 non-Kind Soil plants to 15 gal. Smart Pots. I will mix additional soil (50% lighter on amendment ratios) this weekend, let it cook for 2 weeks and then replant.
