Photoperiod 1st Photo with Test Seed

Hello all,

This is my first photoperiod grow. I'll be growing with autos and indoors in my closet. I'll be growing a test seed from Nukeheads(Bigz fromnukeheads is his name, all credit goes to him for allowing me to test his strain, yes he knows Im a new grower) The strain is a cross, Blue Dream X Aurora.

Medium: Fox Farms with worm casting and extra perlite

Nutrients: Nukeheads Flower Power Package
Ferti- Lome Root Stimulator, Cal-Mag

Pot Size: 3 gallon Smart Pot

Light: AutoCob ( I will be buying another one very sooooon!!)

Grow Area: MY closet in my man cave!! Its 2x2x4

An a humidifer

Water: well water(there's a running well water outlet for all the neighbors to use down the road)

Seed was put into a cup of warm water on 8/27, 8/29 when into napkin.

Any advice will help!!

Sounds great, except for the hauling water part I used to haul 20 of those blue 5g water jugs 2x a week. The Horror !

Can't wait to see some pics of that blue dream x Aurora.

I had a set back with the blue dream cross. Seed sprouted but just stay there not moving. So started another seed. Hopefully it will do better. The other 2 are on day 4 looking good. Will post pic tomorrow for the update weekly pic. Now I remember, the shell got stuck on the leaves on day 1 so I got home and pulled it off thinking it was ok but the skin was still on the leaves which held them together. I also help with that but it didnt help. I dropped a new seed yesterday 9/3 right into the soil.

i drop all my beans straight into my growing medium. I’ve had about a 95% success rate that way. I just keep the top soil damp & usually 3 to 5 days I’ve got sprouts. I use plain PH’d tap water for germination & sprouts. Since your using fox farms & worm castings, you shouldn’t need to add very much nutes until you start the flowering stage. Also with the space you have, you should consider how long you want to veg for. Once you flip from veg to flower she will double to triple in size. LST could really help you maximize space & lighting. Since it’s a photo, you could definitely top or fim her. I myself top my gals 3 to 5 times over the course of a 6 week veg. With 2 autocobs in a 2x2 would be plenty of light. As far as the nutes your using, I’ve never tried so I can’t give too much input on that.

Thank you for your reply. I'm also growing autos with this run. Im in the grow battle for autos. So I'll be vegging for about 4-5 weeks before the flip. I will also be getting the 2nd cob next week. The flower power package I used on my 3rd run with the great white shark auto CBS plant and it did very well. I used the mega crop with my 2nd grow the NL Auto and also like that one too. Both are good.

This is the first time me putting straight into the soil so I'll see how that goes. I like learning new things and this grow is my first photoperiod grow and topping and LST is a must!! I got some of those stem trainers and will be using it with this photo.

I’ve yet to grow autos & photos in the same room at the same time. Growing autos on a 12/12 light cycle kinda makes me nervous.

My 1st grow I did 12/12 after week 5
I didnt know that at the time. What I read at that time was to go to 12/12. I didnt start 18/6 until my 2nd and 3 grow. I'll see how they react.
