New Grower 1st Journal New to AFN

Hello to all;
I have growing on and off for yrs. This is my 2nd grow with autos. I have 2 lady's at 51 days. I'm using 400 w hps in good soil.
4 gal pots. i have posted some already in the intro area, but the pic are ok today they are much better you can see.
purple express and a k 49 both autos.
So tell me want you think of my lady's. 1 & 4 are purple express and 2 & 3 are ak 49.

I'm growing Purple Express right now. Mine also started turning light green/yellow at 50 days. I freaked out and gave them some nitro 5-1-1. They just kept turning yellow. My ph was 6.2 in soil (using a probe). So I believe it is the nature of the plants. They are advertised as 60 day plants but I am going until the small bud leaves start turning yellow.
In the photo below the bottom leaves were fairly yellow while these upper leaves were light green.

Hi;
Do not freak out this purple the leaves turn a liter green to yellow, its in the genes. This my 2nd run px and on the 1st one it did the same thing. no more nuts. maybe a little mag but nothing more. At the end its very good smoke I like it alot.

Only harvest when the Trichomes are ready.

I would slow down on stuff with N in it ..

good eye Dab! Fellas, the leaf tips, when they turn 90* downward, the plant is getting to much Nitrogen!! It will cause the plant to yellow off like you stated. The leaf tips down turned, is a great indication to back way off the N and you will not get the yellowing.
