1st Auto Grow Questions: How many Autopots?

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have experience growing indoor photos with organic soil and DWS, but these will be my first autos. Also, a first for Autopots, coco, and MegaCrop. It's fun to try new things! My question is about what size and how many Autopots would suit my situation. I have ready to go:

• 2*4*7' tent (0.6*1.2*2.1m)
• 315W DE CMH with only one grow on the bulb
• 3x Mephisto Samsquanch OG
• 2x Mephisto Sour Stomper

In a 2*4 tent what size and how many Autopots would you recommend? I was thinking 2-3 of the 12" (300mm). But I haven't ordered yet and I could do 2-4 of the 10" (250mm). SCROG, LST, topping, and/or FIM could be used. Although, I'm hoping to have this grow use minimal maintenance as a trial for some later grows. I usually travel for work and this is a good time to practice a grow when no travel can occur.

I'm going to order autopots & nutes tomorrow, because all this quarantine means nobody will be using my guest bedroom for quite some time! Perfect situation to pound out a 60-75 day grow and augment the personal stash.

Hi. Your tent is bigger than mine. ATM i have 3 pots, 11 liter each on late flowering. I would say you can manage 3 pots on the tent. Keep in mind the size of your girls and the way you train them. If you want to check the space you can have a look a my thread. Happy growing.
