Hi guys, I am finishing my first grow, all the rest of my plants were done a few weeks ago.

However one of the ladies is taking more time than expected. Way more time. Week 17 began yesterday, no amber trichs and more than half of the hairs are white.
The plant has been getting 20+ hours of light every day, so no chance its a photopheriodic.

The strain is AK 47 grown in soil under a 400watt HPS.
We had over here about 3 weeks of extreme temperatures over 100 hundred degrees. Could that have halted the growing process? Still.. I always thought that when growth was halted the plant would still mature normally.

At least the gilr is a monster, that's the only reason I am not going crazy about this, but I am not sure what to do at this moment.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Thank you in advance!!

She's beautiful :vibe:

Are the new white pistils due to Fox Tailing on the buds ... if so it can be hard to determine harvest time from pistil color ... if she were mine I would probably find a small secondary bud and vape or smoke it to test it's effect ... glad you're not pressed for time ....

High temperatures will stall at your growth , but that's still a very long time for an Autoflower. When I used to grow photo period strains I would sometimes change to clear water just to kick one over to Amber that was being stubborn. Not sure why it works but it did.

This is my only reservation about doing autos.you could of vegged a photo ak47 for a couple of months&then still finished it quicker than this auto..Once the1st8weeks were done&you flipped to12/12you would be using8hours less electric every day for9 weeks&get more yield!Have you not tried to mimic mother nature &start decreasing the light from20/4after say there not done at14weeks?Maybe the photoperiod genetics in that1 bean far outweighed the ruderalis? In parts of Spain they can get 3crops of autos in a summer&they don't get20hrs of sunshine&even where ruderalis grows wild it might get12weeks of constant light but not 17!That's batshit crazy gotta be some dominant sativa in that bean..
