what do yall think this is my first real marijuana grow how much do yall think i can yeild off of these?

Hey Cole
I may be wrong but from what I see in the second picture they seem to be stretching. Anyway of bringing the light closer without burning them?

He's right, your lights should have been closer and this would make your internode spacing much closer giving you more side branches and thus bigger yields. It's really hard to guess on the yield but it looks like you will get some nice smoke.:peace::smokebuds:

Yeah, they're definitely stretched, and yeah, that's something you don't want. It's fine with houseplants, not so much with cannabis. You'll want to move the light closer. A 150W HPS you could probably get within about a foot of the plants.

What I like to do is put my hand on the canopy and let the back of my hand tell me if the lamp is too close. If your hand is warm or uncomfortable, so are your plants at that height, or at least that's what I was told. It seems like a good rule of thumb to me, anyway.

Yeah - the only reason they stretch is because they're seeking more light. Light intensity diminishes by the square of the distance (so half the distance gives four times the intensity) however of course it covers less area as it gets closer.
I have my 250W 8-10 inches above the plants with no problems. Back of the hand is a good test however using a thermometer is obviously the best test :p
