I ordered 2 1000w dimmable ipower cool tube packages from ebay, seller hpsgrowlightstore, I recieved my packages today, quick shipping, and everything was packaged extremely well, very professional. I received both mh and hps bulbs with each package, all four bulbs arrived perfectly, and seems to be built very well, nice and solid, the cool tubes come perfectly nearly as well, they are built nice and sturdy, excellent but on one of them there was a small chip in the ceramic socket, barely noticeable and wont affect the light output. it also came with free timers and rope ratchets, everything seems quality and for a great price, there is a year warranty on all bulbs and a 3 year warranty on the ballasts, I have not hooked everything up yet so will update this when I see all powers on well.

I have an ipower 400 that I lent to a friend for a scrog . For a cheaper unit , it has worked flawlessly for almost a year now . I can say , I have zero complaints on it .

Ok well have both lights set up, I ran into some trouble with the hps bulbs, they both will only flicker once when turned on but do not light, both mh bulbs fire flawlessly so guess I have some bad hps bulbs, bummer, but I should be able to just email the seller and get them replaced, will keep everyone updated on that as well, see how their customer service is

Isn't there a setting that you must change back and forth depending on which bulb you are using? I was wondering what sort of box it was shipped in? Was there any obvious indication on the outside of the box that it was grow equipment?

I know its an old post, but to answer Harrison and any other future curiosity,
there is no switch to change the type of bulb. they are digital so its just out with the mh, in with the hps, and power up.

also, the packaging was a plain white box with no indication of grow equipment. I did an unboxing
