Hello. Its a little premature ,but,I thought I would go ahead and write a few basics and get started since Im only a little over a week out from starting my indoor organic grow.I read The Revs book a few times now and ordered his Mellow mix,2.1 soilbuilder and a few tea packets that the Rev sells.

Tent 5X5 Gorilla brand.

1-4 ft. 8 tube CFL HO.T-5

2-2 ft. 4 tube CFL HO.T-5

2-125 watt CFL's if needed for extra Lumens.

I made the Meduim strength mix from The Rev 2.1 soilbuilder.about 22 true gallons.

I also have 40 quarts of his Mellow mix for tier planting my seeds into a nicer feeding mix.

Pots are a #5 3.4 true Gallon with 1 true gallon pots ill be using to tier into the #5's.

3-240CFM fans for air exchange with a carbon filter once the smell comes about.

Im going to try and grow as per The Revs book short of HID's.

ill be growing some more stone dragons,a private strain called Space and one other Ive yet to decide on.

ill keep updates coming as I settle into the grow in a couple weeks.

Thanks! :peace:

Hey EOF, Man am I ever excited to follow your grow. I finally got around to reading The Rev's book last week, but I should have read it before I got started growing last April, with TLO.

Peace

See ya guys in a couple weeks or so.Any comments or ideas about any of the products and how best to use or utilize them, is MORE than welcome.Since this will be a brand new adventure for me.

StickMan,Ya I got tired of trying to make mixes till I actually have a good grow with 100% organics.I can learn all day long, but until I do, instead of read.i'll remain mostly in the dark.Im a hands on kinda guy.I can learn as much as anyone from reading ,but until I do it with a fair amount of promise, ill remain in the dark.:Sharing One: So I figure the Revs TLO book is a perfect place and a fantastic how to first grow TLO, if I follow the steps well.:peace:

I know I post a lot of ramblings. To be honest its just me thinking out loud if you will.I find it helpful and self reflective.Be well everyone. Here's to better Days!

A good brother on here helped me a great deal last year before I got started growing. My first grow far surpassed my wildest expectations making a mix with L's recipe, posted here in the soil recipe thread. I ended up doing a grow journal, if you want to check it out HR Photo Grow in a Hoop House-2013

Yea, I am certainly a hands on kinda guy myself, and I always have to screw things up pretty good until I get it through my thick skull, and the light comes on in my head. Still in the middle of flowering out some photos, where I am experiencing some nute lock out, due to my stupidity. Very ugly. I have my next run of photos vegging in same mix, they are growing a little to fast.

Ramble on brother, so many of my postings are exactly the same way. That is what I love about AFN, it really is a community of us that want to continuing learning and helping each other out.

Peace

WOW, that was a sweet looking grow ya had going on there bud.A friend of mine knows I grow for mainly my health n things and he just gave (or let me use as long as I want really) me his greenhouse he had just bought.its like an 8 or 10ft. long and i hink 6ft. wide.its nice sized I just cant go using a greenhouse since my state happens to be a bit behind the times at the moment.Im just gonna go by his book the best way I can and Im sure they'll look great for awhile.I just hope the Medium strength mix Im cooking is not too strong for an almost established Auto.I figured tier poting into the mix with his Mellow mix which I got yesterday morning should help with that issue. I saw some excellent looking recipes here.but really they are way to expensive to buy all that stuff at the moment, the pre mix was 20 bucks, already had decent organic soil and instead of coco I used a spagh. peat moss.I dontt use coco since having to prewash it is such a waste of water imho.and from all that Ive seen and read spag peat works really well in most all organically cooked soil recipes.so I hope it wont mess it up all that much.

Hey swampman.Glad to have ya aboard buddy.I hope I can do his book justice,as well as me.LOL!Been looking forward for some time now into switching to 100% organic(water only)growing.:Sharing One: Thats the only problem when you have ALLL the items, and you know which way your gonna proceed and cant.almost like christmas or a fresh grow, the hurrier I go the further behind i get kinda feeling.LOL!C'mon late next week.LOL!"AFN smoke out"

I hadn't used MJ for many years, until I completely trashed my back, and wanted to get off of all of the pharmaceutical pain killers I was taking. Went cold turkey for a month before I tried MJ for pain. Worked better than the very high doses of Oxys I was taking. It seems almost every day, I read more and more of the medicinal benefits of it.

I'm sure you use that Green house for growing veggies/herbs in, yea. I really enjoy growing veggies, herbs and flowers and have for many o year.

Peace.

ya buddy!I miss growing Maters n things.I asked the people I live with if that was doable this year and if Im upto setting it up n doing it I can.Just depends on how Im feeling in a few months. Im kinda the same way too bro.Ive been a chronic pain/injury guy for about 10 years.I too noticed that if I didnt have my pain meds Id have a bad day.So I started to lean away from them evil pills. But from time to time since Im outta oils to make eatables at the moment ,ill take a dose rougly once or twice a month. But with this PH thing Im doing, along with the mag rubs n such.Im thinking this is gonna be a great grow and a bettter year for us all Im hoping.ya man, them damn pills are frigin nasty taking them all day every day.UGH!gimma a brownie or give me death.LOL!
