10: people with ADD don't need to pay much attention........

9: the pretty lights don't distract you and make you screw up and give your plants triple does of nutes

8: no PH meter to calibrate and saves you $20-$200

7: no PH meter to drop into a bucket and ruin and spend $$$$$ to replace...

6: no PPM/EC meter needed. You save $40 - $200!

5: no expensive nutes needed! You can grow 100 plants for less than you could grow 4 plants with mineral nutes

4: no air pumps to buy or to break

3: no water pumps to buy or break

2: soil is recyclable

1: Good for the environment

The fact that we grow even some food inorganically shows you how out of touch with nature the human race has become. (From my point of you/view.)(In my opinion.)

Nature has been at the growing plants game for millions of years. She knows how to grow plants.(perfectly)

I don't want to sound condescending or make anyone feel bad for growing inorganically, your still giving a plant life (but at what cost to other life?)

Truthfully, I grow organic because I'm cheap.....lol! Actually, its the simplicity that I like ( at least the way I do it ). And it seems that, every day older I get, the better simple seems. I'm a former computer tech,. computers are the most complex, inorganic things in the world Pc techs are not really techs if they are good at it, they are Voodoo priests .......... And I'm so glad I'm retired from that. I did enjoy the challenge at the time, but now its time to enjoy what’s left of my life, and that doesn't include needing a chemistry lab to grow some damned plants!

I go out to my greenhouse twice a day. I water them, check them to see they are all healthy and mostly bug free, then I sit in there, fire up my vaporizer, and enjoy the quiet and enjoy the beauty of the life thriving in there!

:pass:

that is the life pop! I do pretty much the same thing except my little gardens are in ground, i would kill to have a greenhouse like yours, ive popped by your thread, you have a world of beauty in there.

Kind words, thank you! But hey, if you can grow in the ground, you could do a greenhouse! Mine is 12' x 12' x7'/ O bought it on ebay for $89 shipped. This one has a much better frame than my last one. the covers on these cheap ones may fint a little poorly in spots, but ot does the job well for the money!

I can't grow in the open so this turned out to be even better IMO. And this year I have it all dialed in, i'm very pleased with my greenhouse garden!

Wow that is way cheaper than I imagined a greenhouse to be! You got me thinking about that! Yeah your greenhouse is awesome man.. I don't don't grow the ganja in the ground though just lots of veggies and herbs... As a Rastafarian man once said, I grow the herb in the mountains man... Lol....

Kind of a nooby question here, could you theoretically with a greenhouse your size grow in the ground? Or is it best to do pots like yours?

Another reason fer organic is that ya cam leave it alone for a while and it won't die.
Organic is very cheap and if ya do composting even cheaper. Just about any natural soil amended with a good compost an lime will produce a decent plant.

You could Def grow in ground in a greenhouse. But be prepared fer a monster. I saw some scary plant in ground in a greenhouse..stalk like my wrist!

Very nice Pops! I'll get round to organic growing someday. It looks more appealing all the time.

I'm just coming up to my first harvest of fruit and veg grown "organically" (Well ... the bag says organic, but i guess i'll only be happy it's organic if i get all the ingredients and make it myself) and am very surprized at how my first results have come out. I was expecting at least some problems - but no - just growing fruits and veggies. (And the most delicious strawberry i ever tasted!)

I'll hit you with some rep when i can.

OMG blue do some blueberries. ....got 4 bushes I graze fer breakfast. .a few raspberries. .a strawberry or two...fresh an best picked at dawn.
Gonna have to get/build a green house fer garden..
