Mephisto Genetics 1:1 Cheese

Apologies if there is a good thread on this strain, please point me that way if there is.

But I am just curious as to whose grown this, how it is, and what the yields are like. I might grab some in the sale today.

If you search you should find two grow logs on the canna cheese. One of them is mine - which is on-going. I forget who the other one was but it was a while back.

I personally cannot recommend these seeds.

I bought three seeds. One seed was DOA and refused to pop. The other two were very slow to grow compared to any of my previous auto grows.

One of the two that did pop stopped growing after a week and just died. The last one is still growing but very very very slowly. Its about 5 week s old now and maybe 4" tall. I am an AA aero grower and the roots look great and are close to where they should be at this age as far as size, but the plant is a total runt.

Of course, YMMV

Damn, I ordered some the other day.

I really hope I get better results. I've had my fair share of beans that don't pop from meph, or die a few days later, so I'm not super shocked to hear this.

I'll search for your journal but it sounds like not a ton there, maybe the other grower had decent luck.

@Filthy_Casual I just did the DP Auto Compassion Lime and SS Silver Lime Haze. Both 1:1 strains and both a delight from a growers point. The Compassion Lime was really impressive with strong lime (hints of green skittles) and diesel. Which is the reason I switched to the Silver Lime Haze which is more spicy as I'm getting tired of Lime and especially Diesel.

I grew two outdoors this year and both got about 60grams each. Smoke is very nice, sweet cheese.

What are advantages of 1:1 strains?

In theory, having CBD and THC together increases the medicinal benefits. They compliment each other. I have seen several studies - some more scientific and some more stoner science - that indicated that the two together worked better for various medical issues than either alone.
