The still air box is important for sure. But so is cleaning everything including yourself super well before hand and again right before hand. My first few times using still air box I could not get 100% successfully clean agar plates atleast 1 would manage to get a spot of yeast or something somehow. So I also bought a micropore suit to wear and that helped. Best $12 spent
