Yeah that’s LOW at 100% if it’s lower than 500ppfd at 12" than it’s dying. A average budget 300w light should be putting out around 1000+ppfd at 12".

Your light should be hitting almost 1500ppfd at 12" almost 1100 at 16" according to the manufacturer. Is your light turned up all the way?

Yes, thats it turned all the way up.
Sucks because ive only used it for no more than 5 grows and then it sat for 3-4 years.
Guess i’m in the market for a new light for my 4x4.
I’ve seen @AutoGrowerMo advertising his lights.
I want something that i can integrate w my ac infinite aim controller

At 100% ? That’s crazy work, what is it a 300w light?
Depending on which one you have it’ll turn it off and on, and run the main channel. Acin controllers aren’t compatible with multi channel control, but our ProTerps at least with the pro 69 controllers do work for the primary channel just not the far red channel.

I actually had to pick up one of these so that the A/c infinity ai controller could communicate w the light
Ive had that plugged in but have not powered the controller yet.
Even w those adapters the mo’s lights still cant communicate w the controller? @AutoGrowerMo

It can communicate for the primary full spectrum channel, the second channel they don’t work with so you either need to use a timer and the built in dimming, a real multi channel light controller (works with pretty much all of them that support 0-10v, pwm, and multiple channels), or run 24/0 with the far red channel at whatever you want it then 24/0 with the primary channel and use the controller to operate it’s dimming. Or run just the main full spec with diming and time control from the controller and leave far red off. They work but it’s limited functionality not full functionality (that is going to be true for any multi channel light regardless of manufacturer at this current point in time)

Figured it out!
The light was dimmer because of the UIS adapter, even with the controller powered off.
Once I unplugged it, PPFD shot up to ~700. I lowered the dimmer to 35% to hit 200 PPFD at 13”.
Having a PPFD meter definitely was a game-changer right there.
I’ll still look at upgrading my light, just won’t be as pressured to swap it out now.

You sure it’s the type A adapter you are supposed to have for the light and have you tried a type b adapter?
Well, I contacted A/C Infinity and provided them the model and brand of the light I’m using, and that’s the Adapter they recommended. Once I turn on the controller, I’ll verify to see if it still withholds the light’s power.
9/2/26 - I have one RBF that is fully upright and has grown both its cotyledons. I’ll be preparing its 5gal pot today (I’ve been slacking)
9/3/26 - The other RBF looked like it was struggling to pop the shell off, so I grabbed some tweezers and gave it some assistance.
I also just got my Vseed in! The other two cubes have been pretty dormant, so i’m going to try and germ two more with the Vseed.

Uses Ebb & Flow to cycle water, with an integrated fan, light, and heating mat. Oh, and trays are reusable!
They have been wrong before, I was told our drivers needed their type b, but they infact use the type a not the b (ProTerp series has compatibility with them but it is limited functionality with them, same is true for every other multi channel light if they have any support at all). Also the some models use different drivers depending on the year or batch, brand and model isn’t really the best thing to go off it’s more of a driver thing and if it’s using resistor dimming, pwm, or 0-10v dimming, etc etc it’s all about the dimming protocol.
