Sawney Bean's White Gen 4 by The Dalai Farmer

Hi mate

I would say it was more my fault they went to pot (or not  ), I kept them on the Autopot feeding when they started looking a little rough, when I should of stopped it and maybe flushed and top fed them until they perked up again. But I’ve learnt frow my mistakes, I hope :joy: we shall see. The main man to help you out would be @St.Tom he’s usually my go to man for anything Autopot related, he’s been using them for years

Yeah definitely more on the Chemdoggy smell side, but more intense. I bought some Mephisto Chemdogging when Sawney run out of his Whites, as I thought they were pretty much the same, but although they had the same chem smell they were not as good as Sawney’s, not as frosty or as pungent :face_with_monocle: that’s why I would be happy to grow Sawney’s Whites every grow if I could, even with their little foibles

I was just removing a couple of leaves off one of the back ones and fuck me you were right, this one and one other smells like lemony pine washing up liquid/disinfectant

You done a great job with the girls man!

I do like the simplicity of the Mega Crop and it works. I used it in my very first run with absolutely no problems. If I wasn’t organic, I would only use Mega Crop.

I didn’t look real close, but did you use their kelp? I absolutely love this last version they came up with!

Howdy Bill and thanks :tiphat: yeah just Megacrop only mate. I’ve found you don’t have to use anything else with it, I don’t even ph it anymore, just tap water and Megacrop and the jobs a good un

thumbsup Smashing grow of G4 mate! It’s a hash-bat fest in there :star_struck:

What’s your harvest/trim preference, wet or dry? With the resins on these, it’s a tough call depending on it’s texture. I find some stuff becomes like half set epoxy when dry, scissor-fouling very fast and a right PITA to remove  …wet may be the lesser evil…? LOL

One thing for sure, the aroma saturation could be a bit hard core! I’ve had a few that actually made me queasy and a slight headache from the terp’ vapor overload… :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Hi mate

Yeah you will be pleasantly surprised, the most frosty Auto I’ve ever seen, the amount of frosty goodness is insane, they are more like photoperiods and incredibly pungent. So yeah, you’ll be pleased. I usually do a bit of lst to open em up more, but couldn’t this time due to a few others finishing up in there, so if you can put the work in they could be spectacular  just watch out for the occasional ball sack and a few double headers, other than that you should be good :+1:

Hi mate

Yeah your right about the headache inducing  I usually just do an hours worth of trimming at a time and it’s not too bad. As for trimming, I’ve always wet trimmed all my girls. I did try dry trimming once, but found that more of a pain in the arse and I didn’t like the look of the buds after, so I’ve stuck with wet trimming. It’s more the gloves that take a hammering, I certainly get through more gloves trimming these glue sticks

Hi matey

Yeah I’ve seen your having a bit of work done and you’ve had a bit of a problem with gravity recently. Hope you’re healing well mate and fingers crossed you’ll be back stronger than ever :flexed_biceps:

I was planning on doing a couple of Sawney’s Ultimate White’s in Autopots, but they didn’t seem to like the 40 degree heat and one is half dead and the other didn’t fair much better. Thankfully I had a couple of Mephisto Mango Macaws which were fine with the heat, so they’ll be in the Autopots now, as usual and if your about, I’ll check in with you, but I’m hoping I’ve got the hang of it now :crossed_fingers: anyway look after yourself mate and hopefully we’ll speak again soon.

Week 12

White Gen 4

Finished

Well we got there and the 40 degrees heat didn’t hurt them at all, thankfully :jointman_1_:

No 1

No 2

No 3

No 4

I was hoping to do a couple of the Ultimate White’s in Autopots, but the heat over the last few weeks put pay to that. Both of them were pretty much dead, but I carried on with them to see if they’d come back to some sort of normality, but no go

luckily I had a couple of Mephisto Mango Macaw’s which I was gonna put in solo cups, but thankfully the heat didn’t harm them at all, so they are in the Autopots now and doing ok, for now

I’ve got a few more Sawney’s creations I’ve just started off in paper towel, Bronson, Hellraiser and Nightmare, so I’ll keep you posted on how they get on :aha:so till the next time :baked:

I love all these grows you’re doing, because I’ve got most of the same strains that I’m about to grow, so every time it’s like a little preview of what I have to come!

Bud Shots

Just a few bud pics to finish off this round :baked: if you like frosty stinky buds, you’ve come to the right place

I had planned to do a tent full of small Sawney Bean’s plants, starting them off in solo’s then stick em all in 1 Gallon pots, but I don’t know whether it’s been the heat, or more than likely because I reused old Coco to start them with, but half of them are bit f***** :eek2: I had a few that didn’t pop at all and some of the one’s that did are a tad funky to say the least.

So I’m gonna give them a few more days to how they get on. If the worst comes to the worst, I’ll just take the 4 strongest one’s and stick them in 3 gallons and I’ll just leave the rest in solo’s, if I can find any space for them.

Hey I also just said this in a post!

I had a BUNCH of old no name photo seeds I decided to germ. 20 popped, so I set them all in some 20/80 coco & soil blend… and I have NO idea what ima do with them :joy::sweat_smile:

Hi mate

Hey, at least they all popped, I’d take that as a win  I did think about restarting mine, but some are over a week now, so I’m just gonna see what happens and what will be will be :aha:

On no they didn’t lol

I don’t even know how many I started originally, I just took an old jar of seeds I had and dumped it into a moist paper towel!

But out of all of those, there were 20 keepers. They all moved onto the next stage.

We shall see where it takes me!
