Hey wuddup everyone?! I’m K1. Used to be a grower in the old RIU thread back in like 2010, I stopped growing for a while. I saw 420autos massive yields with autos and a little can-do attitude, so it motivated me to give it a shot myself. I’ll be using multiple 5 bucket RDWC systems, to start I have one 5x5 tent, and two 8x4 tents, and I’ll be using 6 MARS HYDRO 4800 LED’s. Until I know more about what lighting I’ll need these will suffice. I used to use just HID’s but I suppose it’s adapt or die time, lol. This will be an ongoing perpetual grow journal. I’ll always have all tents filled once I get them full. So feel free to always swing by and say hello, I’ll check my journals and posts at least a couple times a week. so to start I’m going to just say Fuckit and pop the beans I bought before I learned a shitload about the banks and breeders doing it these days, I heard good things about FastBuds so I ordered a bunch of beans from them. I know better now that I’ve talked to a few people. But screw it, I popped 2x wedding cheesecake beans and 2x Banana Purple Punch beans. In 3 weeks I’ll pop some proper autos from Sensi Seeds (Headband Kiwi, and Sticky Orange XXL). I’m using a 50gallon Rez for all of my topfeeding for now, Ph is at 5.01, and my EC is at .56. I’m using filtered water from my tap, using an RV Drinking water hose, and an RV drinking water filter, as it’s graded to get rid of Chloramine and hard water. I can’t afford RO at the moment but I will eventually. The only thing I’ve added to my Rez is CLONEX, and a touch of calmag. My beans are popped and I put them in starter plugs and into 4” delta blocks, sitting in hydroton. I’ll be putting up my other tents in like a week so I can built my buckets and prep everything. Here we go! I love this feeling. Fucking missed it. We’re gonna have some real fun. Any suggestions on absolute top genetics will always be appreciated, and good advice is always used. I’ll update every few days in my own grow journal soon. But for now, hope I get to chat up with all you guys soon! Welcome bud! Got some serious tents happening..jealous..ive wanted a 10 x 10 or a 5x10 for the longest time. Jist got a gorilla 5X5 and had it many many moons.whew..as far as genetics, you’ll get many answers probably 😆 but Mendal sour D BX looks pretty spectacular. As well as all the breeders here have a pretty solid selection too.and check out Twenty20 ---

One thing I’ll tell you from the jump, though is his technique is super labor intensive. If I were you, I would not try to 420autoflower scrog ALL of them 😅 maybe just one to statt ---

@Simply_Nuggets i guess we’ll see how it all goes down. The pilot run for these 4 is just to dial in the method. I don’t expect to crush it on the first batch of beans. Although I’m no novice grower so hopefully I’ll be able to manage well enough. Even if I intentionally train some of this stuff to where I can bang out multiple plants scrogging in harmony, the lack of space in this tent is something I’m deathly aware of lol. So once I get my bearings here, I’ll probably get dialed in and do 4 buckets per 8x4 tent, n run two even in this 5x5. As long as I’m setting myself up for perpetual growth I’m good. Back in the day I grew photos using the STINKBUD method. Had some pretty nice Aeroponic systems built using his blueprints, growing a straight up FOG perpetual grow with two 10x10’ tents and a DIY sectioned off piece of basement where I did mothers and just assloads of cloning. THAT was labor intensive, lemme tell ya. This here is an absolute blast. Hell, it was fun just getting shit ordered, set up, building estimated timetables and feeding schedules… I fuckin love this shit. …I’ll also add that it’s hilarious to me that I’m making myself sound like an old head when I’m only in my mid 40’s lmfao. ---

Anything that comes from Chem parentage I’m a huge fan of.. n Sour D in general is just one of my all time favorite flowers to smoke on. And thanks! If it were me personally, I would grow three however you are used to, and dedicate ONE to the 420autoflower method. There is a lot to learn, and a lot of techniques that combine to make the 420autoflower one very successful method. But the thing that cannot be stressed enough (or at least I do not feel it is talked about enough) is how time-consuming it is. Those defoliation sessions can run for multiple hours 😅 Either way, I’m here for it! I currently don’t have any journals posted, but I do have several traditional runs under my belt as well as a few 420autoflower runs, so if you ever have any questions, feel free to @ me as well! ---
