Betty and Lisa had a fight about the lights. Betty decided it was best to move to a new tent. Lisa celebrated by going to the salon and getting her hair did.

Both ladies got some canopy work done today. Im going to try something different and put the before and after from the same angle next to each other. Instead of all the before then all the after.

I know I’m growing Vanilla Re-Up and not the Painted Lady but one thing I’ve noticed is the extremely level canopy! I’m loving the structure!

Finally got Lisa taken care of. She got the works, hit the sucker branches again, sacrificed some better branches for spacing, and thinned the canopy. I also switched the 2x4 tent to 18/6. That big empty lookin spot is where the branches snapped and didnt get trained to fill the space. Overall I think shes in a decent spot.

Changed the lighting in Bettys tent as well. I had the meter out checking lights and my perimeter branches were only getting around 30 dli. These vivosun panels are just sitting around not being used so Im putting them to use as under canopy. Ive tried them before but couldnt really tell if they made a difference.

They make a huge difference, especially with a super thick canopy like you tend to grow. I remember seeing Maestro use the same types of light panels for under canopy and the differences between that tent and the one without under canopy lighting was huge! I know its all dependent on phenos and side by sides with autos aren’t the best, but even Maestro said it was enough to use under canopy lighting where ever he could afford to spare the lights!

Your plants are gorgeous Homie! Don’t know about you but I’m digging these genetics! The structure, the frost, the speed, the terps already! These will probs be the frostiest plants Ive grown to date, photo or auto!

Im still about a week out from trichs but yeah so far so good. One thing I always tell myself but never do, is let a plant grow naturally the first time I grow it. Node spacing is real nice on this painted lady.
Your re-up plants have that nice natural structure to them and that shorter one in the front middle is stacked.

Hard to resist training them.
It’s crazy that a little bent paperclip can turn a single plant into a massive jungle.
