Best LST clips out there, but the filament they use degrades with UV over time, and they usually snap the third time I reuse them.
The guy that makes them is aware of it, but hasn’t changed material.
They’re inexpensive. I just consider it another comsumable component.

What is your defoliation recommendation for the big lower and upper fan leaves?
In the past I remove the lowers at this point, any obvious larfy buds, and only the upper leaves that grow to block.
This was bent over, not topped.

I’m just getting back from terp float. So I apologize for the delayed response
When it comes to defoliation, I really try to avoid it unless the biomass and large shade leaves are covering a Bud site and you can’t tuck them away or LST them out of the way.
Or if they are creating a micro climate
What happens when you have a whole lot of biomass and the leaves are touching each other they create high humidity which can lead to bud rot
So, if you have a large fan leaf that is shading a budsite or too much bush you can defoliate
A couple of rules
Never defoliate in veg
And never take more than 15% of the total biomass at one time

This next one is one that I stunted with too much kelp.
It’s mostly recovered and has self split into 3 mains
