Hello all,

I am a new grower that had some nute burn issues mid veg. Then I decided to crank my light to 11 and burnt my plants. We are late in flower and I have 2 plants that are reasonably stunted. Will they still finish? Should I pull them and start again? These poor girls had it the worst as I experienced the learning curve.

Never give up this late in the game.
I did the same thing my first grow and still got 8 oz of potent smoke from two plants.

@SpiderMonkey :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: Maybe I can help you make a mid-course correction? Fill this out and we will take a look.

Be sure to tag me with your response.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics! Turn off the grow lights.

Hey @Mañ'O'Green - thanks for chiming in.

Currently growing in Sohum Living soil using Autopots. I had initially posted in the infirmary section about an issue early on, but had found the cause of the root burn.

I had added Tiger Bloom to the res and found I had a leak in one of my pots. The leak pulled the Tiger bloom into the trays before I had time to mix the solution in the res. The plants received almost a straight dose of TB.

Each of the plants was flushed using RO water which is the only thing they are currently receiving. I now know that mixing organic with non-organic is a no-no.

If that wasn’t bad enough, I decided to crank up the Growers Choice ROI-E680S to max, for reasons I cannot explain. The poor plants got cooked.

I would say yes they will
