Hello all,
I have been growing 2 plants now for a while in 1 gal pots, they are right at 3 months old they are autos. They got stunted in the beginning however they have grown bushy, and full. I did some major defol, on them both but I'm worried they are are becoming root bound bound bc the pot feels so hard, and the stalks are are over an inch thick. My question is do you think they will die out if nothing gets done about it before flower, I haven't seen and sort of pistols yet.

3 month old autos should be in late flower by now. If so then you’d probably do more harm in transplanting now. Just keep it well watered and fed till finish.

if you’re not near harvest and have no buds then you have a photo plant. Up pot to 3-5 gallon, give the plant two or three weeks to establish then flip to 12/12.

have any pics?

First off your plants look great. Obviously one is in early flower but the others look like they’re still in veg which is strange at 3 months.

depending on how careful a person you are I would repot them from the 1gallon to a 3-5. I would put a “foundation “ of moistened dirt at the bottom of the pot so the soil line of the current container is at the top of the new pot. Then, with the 1 gallon still inside the larger begin filling in around the perimeter. Once filled in and Somewhat tamped remove the one gallon pot. I would sacrifice the one gallon pot and cut it to not disturb the plant. Carefully and very gently place the roots into the preformed “mold” of the one gallon pot and seat the plant add a bit more dirt and water in.
The plant shouldn’t even notice.

the older ones gotta be photos. Definitely up pot and give them a few weeks and flip. They will be beautiful. Unfortunately the yield from the true auto will suffer at the lower light schedule.

I'm just not very careful, kind of a Bull In China Shop if you will. However, I'll attempt it. Thanks for that. I just should have gotten a larger tent. 2x2.5 is just very small. I was thinking when I planted the 3rd plant it would be flowering after the other 2 to keep a cycle going. But, yes thanks about my plants I think they look good aswel. However, I can't take all the credit heaps of people from AFN shelled out their expertise and I'm thankful. If you or anyone else has any comments please let me know in this thread cheers to all...
