Dutch Passion When do you chop down auto extreme and think different?

I see on the D.P. website 70 days for auto extreme and close to 80 days on think different. When did you chop your think different and your auto extreme. And how many phenos did you find?

Outdoors, 99 days for both and could go further a week or two. Had two phenos on both, loved the tall AX pheno.

I've had Think Different run 90 and 120 days, two phenos.. I've written to DP suggesting that they update their time estimates, but I never heard anything back. I'm going to try planting an autoultimate in a one gallon pot to see if restricting the roots will shorten it's life cycle.

I don't know much fairlynew but I have learned that the first signs of leaf cannibalism is when to start flushing I have never had an auto yet that finished on time

Our website tends to state what we think is the earliest date that you can crop the varieties. But of course 'personal taste' comes into the equation, with many customers preferring early harvests.

Some customers prefer to deliberately allow the plants to run longer than normal, this can add field and a heavier hit. You should also check out Muddys thread about the benefits of cropping autos based on leaf appearance.

And of course there is the natural genetic variation within all seed grown plants, some will want longer than average and some less than average bloom. The same arguments are true of photoperiods as well.

So the dates are a guideline rather than a rule.

I harvested my AutoXtreme too early, I think. The only parts with white stigmas were foxtails, but apparently the plant needed more time as the dried buds don't work at all. Still have two AXs in veg, hopefully this round goes smoother.



[edit] The no potency was my own fault though, not sure wtf I did wrong.

Hey Fairly, my AutoX is on day 90 today and has been on a feed of water only for 10 days.
After a quick (not) trichs inspection it's mostly cloudy with the odd amber trichs.. I will take her down in 2 days, ready or not!

Hey Psyphish , yours plant looks like you let it go for too long man. Last time I made the same mistake , my ak47 looked like it could go for a bit longer so I kept it going for 119 days.
The smoke was crap in taste and potency so I had 70 + g of useless weed. Was realy pissed off , but what is done is done. Took the bullet and started over again ... Love the game

AutoXtreme is harvested around 85 days after germination. This is a little longer than other AutoFems, but with this variety the extra time was needed to give the best combination of potency, taste and crop size. As a result the plants may be a little larger than usual, up to 1.5m tall. This is a new AutoFem and one which will be very hard to beat.
