Yes, everybody love free gifts. haha,

Ah... greenjeans, I really wanna help but my boss won't allow me. If we send too many free lights, we will lose money. Hope you can understand. Get one light when you have the money, our light worth it. :d5:

I understand. It's no big deal on my end. But whoever you hire, you should still get that work done to your site. There are a lot of people out there who are afraid to buy from Chinese manufacturers, and the Mars Hydro website contains a LOT of sections that are written poorly. Someone who reads the info there could easily decide not to purchase just because it seems to be written by people who don't speak English fluently.
It probably shouldn't be that way, but that is the world we live in.
If you ever change your minds, just let me know. I can write it all up perfect for you.

Either way, I'm sure I will be getting one at some point. Maybe later this year.

Good night, Kush T, but alwasy remember to stop by :Gold:
Gbd... What time is this for you to be still outta your bed!! Go to sleep zzzz zzzz zzz lol
Most peopel on AFN are very nice, as far as I know. :Gold: I am lucky to be here
Tang had posted that he was giving away his older ones , and I think thats really cool you guys help others..

Right now we do not have any project, but as long as we have newly developed lights, I am sure there is a chance to send out our lights to test. :d5: Experienced growners are always a preferable choice cause we need more professional advice. But we will also make it fair.
Thanks Tina that's great to know but I'm actually ok for lights I was just wondering if I was eligible for free stuff then so would a lot of my friends here. Are you basing the give aways on post count because if you could give us an idea of which members are able to benefit from your generosity and which aren't that would be great.
Thank you greenjeans, we will indeed improve our website soon,I will keep you informed if we need your help. :tiphat:

I agree with you both, will take it seriously this time.
I'll second what Greenjeans said...... Any website with pidgin English comes across as being run by someone who either or both, can't afford correctness and/or doesn't care, either way it is bad for business and the perception of the weedy qualities of your bright LED lights...... Lol

You really, reaaaaally need to take this seriously and get it fixed PRONTO...... I would take Greenjeans up in a snap, give him a smallish grow tent with no ventilation, a typewriter and 5 gal jar brimming with the primest of prime White Widow...... And let him take on the linguistic challenges.......... SERIOUSLY!!!!

Tang, part of the sponsored grows is that we'll be doing a complete and full public view grow, along with strict criteria set by admin and a full product review when done :d5:

There are expectations based on testing the products, so hopefully that clears up any confusion. There are no hand-outs

Thanks again Tina that makes perfect sense and thanks for explaining, plus rep. May I ask if you have the opportunity to test your lights/spectrum with Cannabis before release? I know in the case of seeds and growing equipment in Europe Spain has recently become a hot bed for development and testing.

It says on the website that it will cover an area of about 5 foot by 5 foot; one of my tents is 4 foot by 4 foot but it's about 3 years old and has been through hell so considering an upgrade. I have two Aviditi brand tents and a homemade DIY grow tent, but might give these Mars tents a go. They've got a 4' 9" x 4' 9" that would probably be right up this light's alley.

The light is very heavy compared to what I'm used to. I think a little more consideration and attention to equal distribution of weight is in order with it. I wouldn't trust it to rope ratchet straps. I'm fairly certain I'm going to get chain for it. Better safe than sorry. Plus who doesn't love going to Home Depot/Lowes/Menards/<insert big chain here>?

I have over 26 pictures of the 1600W just from in the box to out of the box  I'll be taking more of the lights on in different modes and will try to get some Kill-a-watt readings too of the different settings.

This will be my very first grow with LED's, so may be a bit of baby steps. I've been warned it's going to probably take a couple grows coming from HPS to get the swing of things. Would appreciate you guys following along and giving advice and help, and I'll try to give as much honest feedback about the light as I can.

I've been growing with 1800 watts of HPS/MH light for the past 3 years (1000W + two 400W,) so this hopefully will be the start of an LED conversion for me :d5:
Cool Son Of Hobbes, have you decided on what you're going to grow? Will your journal be here in the Mars Hydro section?

Hello Tina, welcome to AFN and thank you for giving us direct access to your knowlege.

I am looking at the 144 x 3w reflector lamp for my small cabinet for 1 grow then it will be moved to a larger tent that has yet to be purchased. My question is, can the light be hooked to a dimmer? That would solve any headroom problems from a large plant in that one run with limited head space.
