Had my doc appt this morning to follow up on blood work.

Lever enzymes are around 70. Would like to have them below 40. They've been upwards of 140 before. Still working on cutting out more drinking. Down to a few beers and seltzers in the evenings, which is a far cry from drinking half of a 1.75 liter bottle of bourbon every night.

A1C is down to 5.5 from 11 a year ago.

Pisses me off when you go in and they are like "have you eaten, we'd like to do a blood test" and its like dude, you are who diagnosed me with diabetes, and you know damn well its 9 in the morning and I better have had something to eat by now or my blood sugar would be fucked up. Like, you should be mad at me if I haven't eaten.

Edit - what I didn't tell them was breakfast consisted of a sugar free rockstar and 2 reeses peanut butter eggs. Lets keep that between us.
