Hello AFN family, I hope everyone is good. Long time no see. :bighug:

I found that photo plants are way more consistent than auto plants, also I spend less on electricy and get more yield (because I can run DIY strips on full blast 12/12), so win win decision. So let's do some journal.

This time with:
- 4x Sweet skunk FV from @Sweet Seeds @Sweet Seeds Apolo @Sweet Seeds Jay @Sweet Promotion
- 3x Power plant from @Antonio_DutchPassion @DutchPassionTony @DutchPassion

Will be vegging those plants 40 days, but I will run out of space at around 30 days. Will try top twice instead of once. Also if one of them will be runt, I will veg one more plant in smaller container just to fill flower tent.
I will only grow 5 of them, as you can see, I don't have place for all. 4 of them are in 15 L pots, I don't know yet what to do with one. Usually I get them into 10 L pots, so I can squeeze 5 of them into 60x60 cm tent. This round IDK why I get them into 15 L pots.

Bottom two pots and the smaller ones are from previous round, so "recycled". I just flush them with water and then "recharge" with veg nutes. Also the top two pots have more perlite, I actually mixed 20 L coco and 10 L perlite for those two pots.

Setup is same as always:
- flower tent 120x120 cm
- veg tent 60x60 cm
- 480 W of DIY Samsung Q strips (20 strips), 3000 K, running at 184 lumens per watt or 2.6 umol/s
- recycled old 240 W DIY flower light and gain efficiency and coverage for veg light ---> from 150 lumens per watt to 180 lumens per watt and with two switches (3500K + 5000K with 60 W and then I can turn on 50 W of 3000 K too, so total 110 W of veg light)

Some old journals and pics from setup are in my signature if you're interested (got some AFN records about autoflowering yields too).

Can't view your sig to check out those other journals but I'll ride along for this one mate :smoking:

Are you on phone?
Because on computer, I see my signature.

Is AFN dead, guys? Couple years ago it was full of comments...
Just like back then ya gotta get the journal attention. Tag a bunch of people. I used to have one of the biggest journals in the meph section now my journals r barley looked at. Photo section isn’t the busiest here either

Oh, did I say that I don't use pH meter and EC meter anymore? And I use salts, actually only two of them. One is calcium nitrate, other is NPK forumula. So yea, "pH perfect" man!! :headbang:

So, I pulled the slow one in the bottom left corner.

Just some roots at 18 days from sprout.

This was at day 18:

This is now at day 21 and time to turn on another COBs, so 110 W total in this tent:
