BT germed 3 for 3, all good ones. I selected for what I call the Bertha pheno. Most vig and widest leaves at the start. WD was 2 for 3. Had a tough time dropping the hoodie. Slowed her down some, not for long.
I plan on another Magic Strain transplanted to the raised garden or 10 gal pot outback. I've got some GWK X BT I'd like to try. Thinking if I select small(and vig) I'll get a faster one. Comments on this anyone? Probably be seeding in 10 days.

@trailanimal , BT x GWK is amazing and gets size from BT and crazy resin coverage from GWK. If you look in @Yourztrulee ’s thread, he grew an outstanding plant and can tell you finish time. I don’t remember ... maybe 80 ish days? Worth running for sure. Lots of Magic going on North of the Circle this summer!

Both WD's opened up with the tips of their first leaves whitish looking, a little pink and purp in there too. This was after a difficult time shedding their hoodies. At first I thought....colorful leaves maybe. Seemed kind of powdery, but not dusty?, and I wiped it off. A small amount of white residue remained. Plant was growing so I watched. Yesterday I wanted to find out wtf and checked it out with the loupe. Out the tip of each leaf was a tiny pearly white projection that looked just like a nanner, except white. And, from the tip spreading down the leaf thin white tentacles. Never seen anything like this. I pulled the plant and re-seeded WD, see what comes up this time. In the pic you can barely see the "whitey" tip on left leaf.

I don't what to think at the moment. I felt it was too "odd" to let it grow. See what comes up now.
