So here's a question boys.. bit of a stupid one i think but just to clarify lol a watt is a watt yea?? In my little tent I run a 400w skyline, drawing 200w and a 500w oil radiator total 700w the 2.. if I take those out and put a 400hps in ilI' be 300w better off so save on the leccy bill yea? Even if set the hps to 600w Im still 100w to the good yea?? Quick math.
Yup:pass:

2 + 2 = 4

Unless wattage on radiator is less than 700 at wall

But, remember the room we are in :pass:

What size tent are you working with?
If temps aren't a huge factor to you, you could cut your wattage down to 65-240 watts from the wall with autocobs.
They don't put off much heat at all, So it'd be an option if your grow room is a consistent temp.

Probably not completely accurate as the oil filled heater is on a thermostat. Once it reaches temperature it shuts off and the oil stays warm. I would be surprised if the heater uses 300w average.
