Had the hard drive in my laptop die on me this morning. Still smiling, Because it gave me a chance to get away from garbage ass Windows 10 and go back to Linux...

Same here. Though mine didnt die yet... I find I am only using windows for work and a handful of games that aren't already ported to linux. Thinking of putting in some time to make sure I can do all work related stuff in linux, then I'll switch. I've had enough of this mandatory update crap.

Looks like this winter's sourdough starter is alive and kicking. I normally just freeze some dried starter over the summer, but this years attempt was a fail, so I have a new culture. Not sure what to name it yet. Just three days in and it's off to a good start.

This morning I noticed that they completely neutered Kali Linux. May go back to Parrot OS or an Ubuntu distro, and just install what I need for my own "entertainment".

Linux Mint for the win, man. The only distro I use anymore. Runs great as a VM, too.

Not yet it's the final days of packing to make sure we have everything needed. Will be on leave starting next Thursday.
