Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...

Go to my content on my profile I still have to post end results like yield a potency but you can still see the growth diffrence between the two. If you have any light questions lmk by private message ill help ya out ive owned quite a few brands. Hipergro has a nice light out for 100$ its got cree leds wich are the best when it comes to cob led and has a real good light spectrum. But still Roleadro is my go to for best bang for my buck.you need to figure out wich form of led lights your gonna use.

For grow tents I use growneer 2018 upgraded version. Cheap and made for growing cannabis in mind. They have alot of vents and exhaust shoots for your air filtration and come with a good trellis net if your into doing the sog setup.

Tyler_durden88..Or any of the fine people on here. Its been a few days , been busy in the farm. I.got some new pics, as you can see I did get a hps-philips 450.... I am thinking I'm dealing with a cal- mag deficiency??? What's your take on it bud, if you need more- better pics , I can get some more in the AM. Literally happened over nigjt, I nutes two days ago, everything third day, half strength, tiger bloom and big bloom. Stready 75 degrees...hmmm thanks ...if I'm not posting correctly or in the right spot can someone help me out, I'm still a little lost on here, I'm not the greatest with this stuff.

GLad to see you got a decent grow light. Far as your plants go either calmag deficiency or nitrogen toxicity in my opinion. Watch the nutes the more powerful your lighting the more nutes your plant can use and with lower light intensity they cant use it as well. Id give them a little flush and check your soil ph after.

This is where I will be rocking my SOG in the not so distant future. Ahh, the joy of central city living in an apartment.

Figure I can squeeze 12-16 1 or 2 gallon growbags (the kind with a tiny footprint but more height) in there, then replace the 200w CFL with a reflector that comes with the kit.

Thing is, the whole cabinet is made to look like a filing cabinet, so it is very small, like Standing at 18” wide, 24” deep and 30” high. Do you think squeezing in a 300watt LED panel will get too hot? Should I perhaps opt for the 150w LED model and then possibly add in some cfl \ cob bulbs on each side of the LED fixture?

Not talking about much extra light, just like 50w for a total of 200w (true usage lower due to LED)? We all know lights means heat, LED or no LED.

Perhaps the extra wattage would be better spent for LED strips or T5's as supplemental side lightning?

Any suggestions welcome guys

Not trying to be negative but that might hold one full grown plant. Ive never seen this before and it dosent make much sense for growing weed. Its clear so you wont get as much light as a tent with reflective material. And you need distance between your plants and the light. This looks like it has problems written all over it. At most I would use it to germ and raise seedlings. Plus the air filtration system dosent look to good. And if you live in a city your gonna need a good carbon filter and fan setup. If you havent paid for it yet id scrap it. Go for a 2x4x4 grow tent and build your air and light setup. Sorry if I sound like a troll but I want to be honest. It looks cool but will not be ideal for growing weed. And as far as the SOG thing thats meant for bigger setups and you can get similar results by simple LST methods. I rarely use the SOG net bc I like to have plants at different stages of growth and take my plants out to water and train and trim. But hey this is just my opinion to each his own. Just trying to help you save alot of aggravation and frustration.

I've actually grown in similar setups earlier, then with cfl's and a homemade carbon filter. Going for short autos or strains like Papaya \ a few of the sativas from ACE seeds 12\12 directly from seed I can pull off a SOG in there no problem at all. Agree on the scrubber though, might have to make an external solution behind the cabinet.

And if I could get a tent I would, but with a cardboard box infront of this plus some general mess my parents and colleagues can actually come visit and not see it, since it looks like a filing cabinet after all, which you have plenty of reasons to have in your house. Why you would have a tent there is a whole different thing to explain.

See some of the micro shit ppl pull off, growing in a pc, growing in a medicine cabinet, growing wherever there are a bit of room.

I've grown in cardboard boxes before in my dormatory.

As long as your only requirement are a bit of 'erb for yourself you can do with very little.

The space is really not an issue, and lollipopping and micro sog was an artform over at ICmag. One guy there had a perpetual thing going that was amazing.

What I am trying to convey is that we all grow in different situations and for different needs\amount of friends. If I can lollipopp 12+ fems (actually think it will be reg seeds with 12\12 from the start on already small autos) every 65 days I will have triple my monthly intake, at least.

And if I can do it while looking like I have a filing cabinet full of cool industrial manuals and drafts, well then I can actually grow.

Your right depends on what you exspect to get from your grow. You can get smaller strains like skywalker but I still think your underestimating the space you need. 3 gallon pots are as small as I go and one 300w led wont be enough for the amount your saying your growing. I dont doubt that plants will grow but they wont be nothing great. Youd get the same result from a space like that growing one plant through a microscrog instead of many. Microsog and Lollypoping are a great idea but I still think youd be better off building your own setup by hand you can make a growspace to blend into any space if your somwhat handy. My last house had a walk in closet and I built a entire 4 ×4 room inside the back of my closet with a magnetic push close latch. Noone ever knew was there.when we sold the house I said it was a safe room. Lol
