I prefer the cloth pots a little myself, but these are a close second. Haven't done a "which grows better plants" side by side or anything. I just find the cloth a little easier to work with than the plastic, personally. :smoking:

Do you put a tray under them to stop the water from getting on the floor?

Yes, but I use the same trays for either smartpots or air-pots, so not a big factor in choosing between 'em for me. :smoking:
