yeah. that makes sense. dont look for amber and cloudy. look to see when the clear is gone. sounds easy enough. any tips on using a cheap hand held microscope lmao.

Ya, I have one of those with little led light on it, and two lens. It's good for a real quick check. Have to lean all the way in to the plant with damn things. It's almost as easy to set up a tripod and take macros.

£3 ebay comes with 3 lil watch batteries.if you need batteries for a watch buy this its cheaper than the batteries.
needs to be touching the lil plastic bit.focus by pulling out and in the black knob.
harvest in stages to experience the different highs ?
no right and wrong only personal preference.
technically clear is still developing.so hasnt reached peak weight so to speak.cloudy is max yield.amber is degrading/breaking down or turning cbn,d ish.
besides there will allways be % of the plant clear/cloudy/amber.
.............stopping now before too big a ramble of bullshit.

Got one of those free from a growshop. Loved it. Can't find the little bugger though. I'm using an old jewellers loupe 60x. Probly cost 10x as much and works half as good.

I also have a "magic mirror" or some shite. The farther away from the subject the bigger it gets, focus is usually about 6 inches from my face, and 1-2 ft from the plant. Then use the little jobber to do the rest. It's easier to hold it. This is the thing I'm talking about,

I'm finding that the little clip on macro lenses for most current smart phones take a decent enough pic that you can then look at it on phone or PC to make it a little easier. Do have to get super, super close with the lenses and hold stuff as steady as possible still, though, to get a decent pic.

I have actually strapped a 10x and 20x loupe to a cheap digital panasonic camera and have gotten some pretty amazing macros shots on the cheap. It works well with a decent loupe, cheaper loupes will get fuzzy result around the perimeter of picture.
