Black bears are the cuddliest of all, fo about 3 seconds... 
We have had a large increase in fisher populations, since the great success bringing back wild turkeys. Since they are night tree hunters an turkeys tree roost and are inactive. They are little beasts for sure! Don't mess with a fisher! I saw one last year that was around 36" in length.
Mink, woosels (LOL!), ferrets, stoats otters, fishers,.. all from the same family (mustelidae), and all bad-ass predators! Fishers are gnarly, anything that can hunt down squirrels in their own house is beyond impressive,... just be very glad they're small!

Something going on in the post office sending stuff to your state, maybe the whole US. @trailanimal had a package confiscated. I had two, one was veggies seeds I'd bought from Amazon, didn't realize it was coming from abroad and got the original envelope with no seeds and a note from the dept of agriculture saying the contents were ceased and destroyed. The other package was from Europe, with canna seeds, via Fedex. Don't know what happened, afraid to check...Oh now you are making me sad! Still have not heard about my sweet order and I only have 5 business days before photo seeds are fired up.Sigh...this will fuck up my whole Holland Vs Spain grow off if they don't show.

Oh yeah they look super friendly, and tey are if you let tem do their thing...but like most animals here, if you tried to buddy buddy up to him, you would get a nasty surprise. Why did he come to see me? Cause I told him we were cool, and I was on a toke break!
I believe something has changed in how our mail in the US is handled, within the last couple of months. I never had trouble before, and I bought A LOT of seeds last year!
