So true. 100 degrees here in the desert heat, you get use to it. But when monsoon rains come and I mean it friggin rains, humidity above 90 and temps at 100? Unbearable. Dry heat is not that bad really until it hits 100 and above, 110 feels like an oven when you walk out the front door

Yup, so true. Wanna hear a shocker? Well, maybe not for you, not being from the US, but the best climate I've ever lived in was Seattle.

Everyone says it rains too much there and that it's a horrible climate...

Anyway, Seattle was the best climate I've ever lived in. It drizzles rain throughout the winter, while there's snow here, but it's a dry climate, doesn't get too cold and when it's cold, it doesn't feel as cold. Same goes for the summer, not too hot either. And lots of glorious sunny days in the summer.

I absolutely love it. Had a little set back and moved to New Mexico, also loved it. But AZ is wonderful, especially Tucson and the surrounding areas. Would never go back to oHIGHo again after 32 years there. Don't even care to visit, my friends and fam all come here!

This is the only forum I frequent. I'd joined another one, but didn't really post much there. Regarding the guys here, not only are the boys nice and accepting, but extremely respectful. All men I've interacted with here have treated me as a human being, a buddy grower. And that equal treatment and level of respect, if anything, they're protective of us girls, makes them true brothers!

I feel right at home here, safe, loved and respected by people I feel the same for in return. [emoji178]

Been looking at land here in AZ and I can get it for 2k an acre out in the mountains off the grid. Set up solar panels, sell electricity back to the electric company and use the sun to grow! It's our plan at least, once I can afford 20 acres or so.

I've been reading about those plugs... That sells it back to the power companies.. I forget what they are called.. But yes absolutely go for it! I love AZ... Especially Northern... Sedona is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been in my life.

How long were you there for? Can I ask why you went, was it a holiday or something else? It was on my list for consideration but it's a loooong way from here. Does it have subtropical but with only a foot of rainfall a year anywhere? Temps don't get below 20C and not above 35C?

Hmm 95 to 68 f... That sounds about right as I went there in June/July. It was just gorgeous. Oh no worries! I went there in holiday for 6 weeks when I was 16. A whole big group of us went from school although it wasn't a school trip. I'd recommend Costa Rica to everyone and anyone!! The people are amazing and many speak English and Spanish so it's not a country you really have to worry about that sort of thing... There are quite a few rainforests.. Went to 3 of em... Saw quite a bit of rain but it was also that time of year. Hope that helps!
