Hello, new to the site. I have 6 Grower choice auto flowers, 3 critical pure and 3angerine dream. They started off nice got really tall and began budding nicely. its beginning of week 8 and things have almost stopped. no more bud growth and not as much smell anymore? on the tall ones the buds have almost no mass yet?, any now it seems they are showing signs of finishing? The 3 small ones started at the same time but started budding way later? Set up and pics below.

According to what Growers Choice has listed on their site the Tangerine Dream is 8-9 weeks and the Critical is 11 week strain. Your close on the one and have some time left on the other. But if you had magnifier loupe or digital scope to be able to check trichomes that would give you a better look at when they are ready.

Ph? Medium? My knee-jerk reaction is a magnesium deficiency... I'd lean ph issue.. slurry test soil, and runoff. Seems like some of the soils will start having issues with ph fluctuations about halfway thru flower...

@Waira is the expert, am sure he'll be by shortly with some help, but the ph will be needed for diagnosis.

Thank you guys for the diagnosis. Bushmaster, yes your correct on the timing i just figured the the bud would be more dense by now. When I tested the Ph of run off water it was at 5.4. Does anyone know if the Grower choice seeds are proven strains?. Or could this crop failure be due to bad genetics?.

5.4 is awful low if your in soil... and run off is testing only what came out, it's an indicator, but not a true picture of the root zone. Thus a slurry test as well... and what's the pH of your nute/water your using?

Yea thats what I thought. let me ask you and I hope I did not do a big booboo on the first run. I was told to PH the water before adding nutrients, is that correct?. What damage can it to PH the water before nuets. Thank for the help

5.4 is pretty low for soil.. Borderline low for cocoa.. For proper ph.. You follow the instructions of the nute line you're using. I've never read or used one that said to ph the water first. Some have a specific orders in which to add the nutes. Ph the water after all nutes have been added.. You may need a ppm meter as well.. You could have some sort of lock out happening in the soil. You can always make a post in the official Infirmary section and have one of the Docs take a look.

I agree with Prophetiko, your nute line should have the mix to follow. But I've never had one that pH was first... I believe due to your shooting for a final pH range, and nutez will affect that differently. I'm currently running nectar of the gods line, and my water starts at 7.8. Each item I add lowers ph, and if I'm running the full feed, my ph ends up to low and I have to adjust it up.

Also, I have seen lines that need to be added in a particular order as well. All things to look into!
If ya need anything add an @to our handle, and we'll see it when we pop on!

Don't stress too much, first few grows can be a little rough! At least there is now the Internet to get some help! Your ladies look 500% better than my first grow!

Thanks everyone for the input, Ill clarify that It was bad information i was given about when to PH. The GHP nutriants did not suggest this, just a bad first mistake.....
Anyways have some new girls just showing so i know what my first change will be.
Awesome to know there are good people out there to answere dumb questions!!!!! :)

I was told to PH the water before adding nutrients, is that correct?
Human logic just goes out the window sometimes for all of us. Generally if mixing nutes, then it is logical to assume that whatever goes in last, will then require correct ph. Before hand is illogical.
