Grow bags?

I know you can grow spore to fruit in grow bags but would it be better to cut the top off the bag when they are starting to pin and place the block in a monotub to give more room for growth?

I usually like to remove the whole bag and put it in a monotub if I'm using a all in one grow bag, that way it can grow from all sides
