@Antonio_DutchPassion Did Dutch seed companies use any autoflower varieties in the early days?
Depends on what you define as the early days?

When the first Lowryder varieties came to the market, Lowryder #1 - #2 etc. I think it was Jointdoctor who was the first one trying to commercialize these ruderalis plants. His base with Mexican Rudy and varieties like William's Wonder (SSSC), Oasis (Dutch Passion) became the first generation autoflowers but were still a bit poor in height/yield/potency. More work/selection was needed and not much later we started experimenting with making our own 'autoflower' strains from that which became the 3rd generation, and which were crossed with some original Dutch Passion classics, like Power Plant, Passion #1 etc.

Before that, I don't think there were many breeders using these plants and many failed to see the potential..

I pulled the ones that hubby killed off.... even a miracle couldn't save the burnt ones....:doh:...but hey......:shrug:... he did remember to water the dogs..TF.....:biggrin:

The others seem to be Trying...:headbang:... but I See sex starting in some very small ones...so I may have a tub of stumpies...... but... stumpies still Frog...so I have no worries.

Where did the Frogs go.....?...
