First Grow In Almost 2 Years!

Welp it got down to 28°F last night and my heater did not turn on so the temp got to 36°F in the tent..... They are very droopy this morning, especially sweet cheese. But I got heat going now hopefully they perk up by the end of the day. I also took the table out just in case because they were doing good until I raised them up closer to the light so either the cold (which is probably the reason) or the change in light they didn't like so I put it all back to the way I had it. Why try to fix something that ain't broke!
But on a positive note, 😁 Linda Seeds package will be here this afternoon extremely excited about that!

Yea she did in the pic good observation lol I wiped her off afterwards though. They both sit so low to soil it's hard to water her without that happening. Need to get them to stretch some.

@Vapo
Do you suggest topping or LST? And when you water the plant at this stage what do you use to water with? Like a pump sprayer or just dump bottle etc? I'm afraid to over water as I have a very strong history of doing that. :biggrin:

Dude haha....I always suggest topping and LST haha I will drop you a tag to my thread after I write this hehe......I mix my nutes in a bucket and just pour it on top with a jug until I get about 20-30% run off, I think this way is called Drain to Waste watering(or DTW for short!)and the way I check if they need some feed is I just lift the pot dude....if it's light, feed 'em.....if it's heavy....don't haha....it's important to let the roots grow out and look for the feed, so you get a good, big root system going.....you are doing great dude, keep it up....😁👍

Edit:.... sometimes dude, when they are small, I put most of the feed around the edges, to encourage the roots to grow out to seek out the moisture/feed...👍🤗

Thanks man. I feel like spraying until the pot is heavy just takes forever and the top gets all mushy and nasty so I been waiting until light and just dumping water around the edges 😁 I felt like that wasnt the right way to do it because a lot of people say to try and mimic rain but I'm originally from down south and dumping water is about like mimicking rain... haha I am going to check your thread out see what I can learn!

Day 16. Welp the sweet cheese is not looking good. I think that 30° night took a toll on her. Won't perk up at all. But the Trainwreck did so that's a plus! If you have any tips on how to get sweet cheese to perk up please I'm always open to advice. My seed shipment from Linda seeds was supposed to be here yesterday buuuuut the mail decided to bring them 5 hours in the other direction :wall: but all good I'll see them sometime this week and get them germinating! Building a permanent table for the tent today to get the plants off the ground and I'll raise the light up accordingly but I just can't have them in the ground anymore it's bugging me 😁 shoot me some advice on lil ol sweet cheese please and happy growing!!!!

Keep doing what you are doing brother. These plants are called weed for a reason ;)
Just let it do it's thing, you've probably stunted it and now it's putting the energy into recovering. Let's see what tomorrow brings :thumbsup:

Built a simple table for now. Going to make it cool eventually... 😁

Dude......you are getting rid of your waste water, aren't you?......you don't water them and let them sit in the water that comes out the bottom, do you?.......I see a grill on the back left black plastic round tray at the back for drainage......also try and keep the leaf tips off the medium(Coco!)if you can, I just used to make little stands out of rubber coated wire to keep them up....they won't dry if they touch the medium and you might have problems!!.....hope this helps dude..👍😁
